The Big Howdy Team is a group of Christian organizations and churches that helps to welcome new international students to UTA, sharing Christ's love to international students. We also try to help students make connections within the community so you can have the best possible educational and personal experience while in Arlington, Texas. - Airport Pickup from Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas Airport (DFW) to UTA - Fall & Spring
- CareAVan Shopping rides to Walmart store to get groceries and household items in this town without busses or trains - Fall
- Used Item/Garage Sale to get inexpensive used furniture and household items - Fall & Spring
- "Big Howdy Party" a wonderful and fun party for international students to start off the year and to get to know the students!!! - Fall & Spring
- "Tour of the DFW/Arlington Area " we take students on a tour of the DFW/Arlington area to help them find the things they need to live here. - Fall If you want to sign up for this go to this other site -
